Every project is quoted individually
No two houses are the same job, so we do not publish a rate. What shapes yours: how many spaces, how much volume is actually in them, whether you are working alongside us or handing it over, how many sessions it takes, how much hauling and disposal is involved, whether products and containers need sourcing, and travel out to Eagle River, Chugiak or Girdwood.
Larger multi-session projects carry a better rate than one-off sessions. You get the number in writing after the walkthrough, before anything begins, with nothing to discover later.

A professional organizer works through a space with you and builds a system for what stays. Decluttering is the first half of that, deciding what leaves. Home organizing usually means the whole arc: sort, purge, contain, label, and set up something maintainable. People use all three words for the same call.
It is a different service from cleaning. A cleaner makes surfaces clean; nothing about where your things live changes. An organizer changes where things live so the cleaning gets easier. Plenty of houses need both, and organizing goes first.
It is also different from junk removal. A hauler takes a truckload away and leaves nothing behind but space. We make the decisions with you, keep what matters, and build the system, then handle the outflow as part of the job.

How much does a professional organizer cost in Anchorage?
We quote every project individually rather than publishing a rate, because the work varies enormously from one house to the next. Number of spaces, actual volume, how much hauling is involved, whether you are working alongside us, and how many sessions it takes all move the number.

Do I have to be there while you work?
For the sorting, usually yes, at least at the start. Only you can decide what stays, and those calls go faster with you in the room.
Once the keep-or-go decisions are made, the containing, labeling and hauling does not need you at all. Some clients set the rules with us up front and hand over the whole thing. We will tell you honestly which parts need you.
Will you make me throw things away?
No. Nothing leaves your house without your say-so, and we do not put a number on how much you should let go of.
Our job is to make the decisions easier to see, not to make them for you. If you want to keep every fishing rod, we will build you somewhere sensible to keep every fishing rod.
Do you take the donations away?
Yes, and it is part of the job rather than an afterthought. Donations get dropped, recycling and e-waste go where they belong, and hazardous items get routed correctly.
Large volumes or heavy items may need a dumpster or a hauling service, and we will say so in the quote instead of surprising you on the day.
How long does a project take?
A single closet or pantry is often one session. A garage is usually more than one. A whole house, or an estate, runs across several and is better paced than rushed.
We give you a session estimate at the walkthrough. If it turns out to need fewer, you pay for fewer.
Do you buy the bins and containers?
We work with what you already own first, because most houses have more storage than they think and buying containers before sorting is how people end up with empty bins.
Once the volume is known, we will tell you exactly what to buy, or source it for you and bill it through. Your call.
Is this confidential?
Yes. We do not discuss clients, and we do not photograph or post your home unless you specifically ask us to and give permission in writing.
Paperwork, financial documents and anything personal that surfaces during a sort gets set aside for you rather than read or handled.
